Taggert Carr

Junior Team Athlete

Taggert is a 17-year-old high school senior from Alexandria, Virginia. He started skiing at Bryce Ski Resort in Virginia when he was four years old, and at five years old, he joined the Bryce ski team. When he was six years old, he switched to the snowboard team, and at eight years old, he qualified for USASA nationals. After competing in snowboard cross, slopestyle, and alpine snowboard events at USASA nationals for several years, Taggert decided to compete in FIS and NorAm races. Taggert competed in his first FIS PGS and PSL races in 2022. Taggert joined Steamboat in Colorado for the 2023/2024 season and completed his first NorAm season. He represented the United States in PGS and PSL at the FIS Junior World championships in Bansko, Bulgaria. When Taggert is not in the snow, you can find him dirt biking, mudding, hiking, or mountain biking.
