A Voice for US Alpine Snowboard Racers
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission is to help elite and promising young athletes in the United States. Our goal is to promote and grow the sport to build an internationally competitive group of athletes.
"The US Snowboard Racing Team is a vital organization for alpine snowboarding. I have been a part of this sport for many years now, starting at a time when the US Ski and Snowboard Team welcomed and aided snowboard racers. Losing that support really set the United States back in the competitive field of racing, relative to international competitors. I believe our athletes deserve the same benefits as those they compete against internationally. They should be given the full opportunity to be their best. The USSRT organization has brought advocacy to the US snowboard racing community again. USSRT not only fights for US snowboard racers, providing them a voice, but also gives them something to strive for. The drive to be the best, to make the team, to be able to wear that team jacket and know you’re competing for the United States Snowboard Racing Team, gives our athletes a sense of pride and community that has been missing for far too long.”
