Robby BurnsElite Team AthleteRobby Burns grew up carving slopes near Mount Shasta, California, and started snowboarding at the age of 10. After earning dual bachelor’s degrees in Wildland Fire Ecology and Forest Resources, he balanced his athletic ambitions with public service—working as a wildland firefighter with the Shasta Lake Interagency Hotshots.
Specializing in parallel giant slalom (PGS), Robby made his world-cup debut in 2019. He proudly represented Team USA at the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing, competing in the men’s PGS event. Off the race course, Robby is known for his discipline and versatility—whether coaching younger riders, competing at elite levels, or fighting wildfires in the summer. His journey reflects a deep commitment to both sport and community. |
