Ryan, 25, grew up outside of Boston and snowboarded on weekends at Loon Mountain in New Hampshire. A multi-talented athlete in soccer, lacrosse and snowboarding, he began snowboard racing at age 6 and from that moment on snowboarding has been his favorite sports. In addition to being a USASA National Champion, he has well over 100 podium finishes. At age 16 he had his first World Cup start in Telluride, CO. He has represented the US at the FIS Junior World Championships in 2013 and 2014 and at the World Champs in Park City in 2019. Also in 2019, he won the Canadian Speed Nation NORAM PGS at Le Relais and took 3rd at the Alpine Ski Club NORAM PSL stop of the tour. A graduate of The Holderness School in NH, Ryan went on to receive a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Denver, where he was a Dean’s List student. Ryan is a very humble, unassuming, hard-working athlete with a fierce competitive nature. He is looking forward to competing on the World Cup circuit again this year and ultimately the Olympics.
