Ryan, 24, grew up outside of Boston and snowboarded on weekends at Loon Mountain in New Hampshire. A multi-talented athlete in soccer, lacrosse and snowboarding, he began snowboard racing at age 6 and from that moment on snowboarding was his favorite sport. In addition to being a USASA National Champion, he has well over 100 podium finishes. At 16, he had his first World Cup start in Telluride, CO. He has represented the US at the FIS Junior World Championships in 2013 and 2014. Ryan has always balanced sports and education by attending the Holderness School in NH and in 2017 he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Denver, where he was a Dean’s List student. Ryan is a very humble, unassuming, hard-working athlete with a fierce competitive nature. He is looking forward to competing on the World Cup circuit again this winter and ultimately the Olympics.
